improving energy performance

Soon, public buildings will be obliged to post their environmental rating from A to G, similar to domestic white goods. By providing the right consumption metrics at the right time, we help organisations achieve, maintain or improve their ratings based on accurate information.

This development is part of EPBD (Part L) legislation and covers both an Asset Rating and Operational Rating. Non-fiscal remote metering and data collection can cover total consumption or a specified area. Please contact us for details.

Example: site electricity costs in 2005-6 of £10,000 per annum

a 15% increase in costs 2006-7 (estimated): £11,500
a 10% increase in costs 2007-8 (estimated): £12,650

If 20% of consumption is saved in 2006-7 (as suggested by The Carbon Trust), this could provide around £2,000 per annum for re-investment
